Functional Testing

Functional testing based on the Enterprise Architects approach is done from small functionalities like Services and Business RuleSets to the largest components of functionality like Business Processes. The stepwise approach delivers the utmost assurance that the functional operation of all designed components works corresponding the requested requirement. Essential in this area are the following Capabilities:

  • Managing Functional Completeness
Checking whether all the requested requirements are functionally complete
  • Testing Services
Testing, support and advise around the functional data and information delivery via Information, Data, and Presentation Services, and – as far as possible – the Technical Services necessary to support the delivery
  • Testing User Interaction
Testing the functional operation of the user interaction and experience based on the requirements
  • Testing Business Rules
Testing the functional correctness of the developed sets of Business Rules
  • Testing Knowledge Functionality
Testing the internal Microflow according to the (business) logic of the functional requirements
  • Testing Workflows
Testing the correctness of the functional operation of defined Workflows, inckuding User Roles, Competences, Authorization, etc.
  • Testing Cases
Testing the correctness of the functional operation of general Cases and requested Casers
  • Testing Business Processes
Testing the completeness of the correct functional operation of the Business and Work Processes
